Macromedia Releases Flash MX
Macromedia, Inc. just announced the release of Flash MX, the most
recent version of the Macromedia Flash development environment, and
Macromedia Flash Player 6. Now featuring support for video,
application components and accessibility, Macromedia Flash MX will
allow developers to create rich Internet content and applications.

Rain announces the Swift 3D Importer
Electric Rain has announced the Swift 3D Importer, for incorporating
Swift 3D vector animations into Macromedia Flash MX projects. The
Swift 3D Importer will be accessed through the Macromedia Flash MX
menu system, and will recognize a new proprietary Swift 3D file
